A global organisation based in Slough on the trading estate is looking to recruit a Customer Returns Manager on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. As a Customer Returns Manager you will have the ability to implement changes and identify opportunities to reduce returns which in turn will reduce costs to the business. You will also have proven customer dispute resolution experience.

This role will be highly visible within the business and have extensive liaison with clients, management and a variety of internal stakeholders.

Day to day duties will include:

Liaising with customers (often at a senior level) though email, telephone and face to face meetings to resolve any outstanding disputes, minimise returns and customer credits, negotiate changes to processes etc. that meet the needs of the client but are still in line with company policy etc.

Identify improvement opportunities, develop and implement robust policies and procedures with the collaboration of internal stakeholders and clients, deliver training courses to all involved

Wok closely with the returns processing team to ensure credits are raised appropriately, in line with set policies and KPIs are met

Work closely with the finance team to ensure all debits are actioned and KPIs are met

Identify target business areas where training is required to reduce returns / errors and deliver training where required to improve ways of working.

We are looking for candidates who have previous work experience in a similar role, with exposure to high value clients, have strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to implement change.

Due to the nature of the role there will be times when you will need to visit other sites (mainly UK, potentially trips within Europe), therefore we are looking for candidates who can be flexible with working hours and be a driver.
